What is Homeless?

Homeless is a platform that brings together the talent, creativity, expertise and the experience of designers and artisans. It equates and gives visibility to both groups. This collaboration allows the designer to fulfill his projects thanks to the artisan and it increases revenues and market growth of the latter.

It will offer consumers the opportunity to acquire smart design objects, produced on a small scale, at a fair price.

 

Philosophy

Homeless believes in "Smart Design". Design is more than just a pretty face. Smart design is thinking how to produce optimizing material and time. Objects can be handmade and produced on a small scale without an excessive cost thanks to new, reused or recycled materials and new assembly possibilities.

This is Smart Design, to create an appealing object while being aware of the production process and how it can be improved.

Homeless will be at the SALONE del MOBILE 2012 (April 17-22, 2012). Our showroom is located at the heart of the BRERA DISTRICT DESIGN in Milan.
During the fair there will be a catalogue of projects showing on our website. After the Salone del Mobile the products in the catalogue will be available for sale.

The winning projects of Homeless Competition 2012 will be displayed in the Homeless Exhibition Salone del Mobile 2012, the first prize will win a summer workshop in Boisbuchet.
