On March 12 - 15, 2014, SHK Essen, the Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Air Conditioning and Renewable Energies, will once again become the most important sectoral meeting place of the year for decision takers from skilled trades and commerce as well as for specialist planners, architects and operators.
SHK Essen will place its faith in pioneering subjects at the fair in 2014 too: Amongst other subjects, emphasis will be placed on modern concepts for the utilisation of intelligent building technology, e.g. smart metering. They permit novel and convenient paths for the communication between residents and buildings as well as the efficient handling of energy.
In addition to the newest ventilation and air conditioning technology for hygienically flawless indoor rooms and innovative procedures for drinking water hygiene and management, SHK Essen will once again concentrate on bathroom architecture. The exhibitors will show a large number of bathroom and wellness concepts with elegant and functional designs.
With solutions for the modernisation of heating systems, SHK Essen will react to the energy turnaround adopted by federal politics. The Renewable Energies / Heat Act stipulates that, at least in part, new and public buildings must be heated or cooled with renewable energies. Here, there is a demand for efficient and cost-favourable technologies. The latest trends in combined heat and power or calorific value technology which can be combined with "green" energy suppliers such as solar-thermal installations will be presented.
On the very first day of the fair, SHK Essen will take account of the growing interest on the part of decision takers and purchasers from the neighbouring countries. March 12, 2014 will be declared the BeNeLux Day. Then, exhibitors will offer the trade visitors information in their national languages.
The Planning Forum will provide skilled tradesmen, architects and planners with information about topical subjects in the sector and will give tips for overcoming the obstacles in the daily routine in the sector.
As a result of expert lectures on the Operators Day, SHK Essen will offer house and property operators a well-founded range of available information about the implementation of building technology installations according to the newest standards. |
