13/07/2012 - Dopo il successo di quella passata sono stati rivelati ufficialmente i finalisti per l'edizione 2012 degli Emirates Glass LEAF Awards, che anche quest’anno premierà opere e progettisti eletti a modelli di riferimento nel panorama dell’architettura internazionale. L’atteso annuncio dei vincitori è fissato per il prossimo 21 settembre presso l’elegante location del Four Seasons Park Lane Hotel di Londra.
Novità di quest’anno l’introduzione di nuove categorie di premi, ovvero quelle del Best Future Building 2012, del Refurbishment of the Year e del Lifetime Achievement, che si aggiungono alle consuete categorie, che spaziano da edifici residenziali a quelli per il commercio, dai virtuosismi strutturali alle proposte di talenti emergenti, fino al premio più importante dell' International Building of the Year.
Hanno partecipato alla nona edizione dei LEAF Awards 2012 i progetti edilizi completati tra gennaio 2010 ed aprile 2012: a rappresentare l’Italia nella shortlist annunciata vi sono Vittorio Grassi con il ristorante Koà, lo studio Iotti + Pavarani Architetti con la Domus Technica e Paolo Verducci con il quartier generale Archimede Solar Energy.
